Built into a series of rooms across a 150-year-old social club, Young Thugs Studio plays host to album, EP, singles, and live recordings.
In recent years our work has been featured regularly on 6 Music, Radio 1, Radio 2, XFM, BBC Introducing, Spotify (New Music Friday), KEXP (US), KCRW (US) among others.

Gear.
Our recording studio has everything you need for creative and focused recording sessions, from pianos, vintage guitars, amps and synths through to tape machines and the latest digital recording equipment.
Built around a Cadac J series 64 channel mixing desk and Pro Tools we have a whole host of top-end microphones, monitoring and outboard gear. Please get in touch if you’d like a full studio spec sending through.

Jonny Hooker
ENGINEER / PRODUCER / MIXER
Jonny Hooker is our resident producer, recording engineer, and mixer. He has worked in recording studio environments for over 10 years including some of the UK's most respected spaces.
As a producer, songwriter and musician his work has been featured on international film and TV as well as receiving radio airplay globally.

Noah Hindle
ENGINEER / PRODUCER
Noah Hindle is our resident engineer and producer, he has over 5 years of working in a recording studio environment and working across and wide range of genre’s.
Noah also has a wealth of experience as a songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and performer.

Yssi Wombwell
LEVEL PROJECT LEAD
A music producer, musician, creative producer and youth and community activist.
Yssi’s work has included running women only studio sessions, curating workshops and performances for Freedom Festival, Humber Street Sesh and 53 Degrees North festival.
